There are apparently only 4 pair of these.  How much would you pay to own 1?

I spent most of my free time (that time during the episode not spent wondering if Peggy actually hates herself on the inside or not) wondering what an Old Spanish was. 

I’m continually looking for ways to sound douchier while ordering a drink at the bar and I thought, well shit, I’m going to order an Old Spanish next time I go out just because no one else probably knows what it is, it’s from the 60s.

Sadly, this morning The AV Club alerted me to the fact that an Old Spanish doesn’t even exist.  It’s actually a fictional drink created on (now former NBC show) 30 Rock.

The Fictional Cocktail’s ingredient list includes:

- Red Wine

- Tonic Water

- Olives.

Real or fiction, I’m going to be a douche and order this drink.  I’ll come back with results on the bartenders knowledge of such drink and ofcourse, if he/she can make a great tasting Ol’ Spanish.

If worst comes to worst, I’ll just make one myself.
